Purpose

Sometimes a lack of clarity in the direction of our lives causes us to question whether or not we have a purpose on this earth and a reason for being alive.  The truth is we all have a reason for being here and a chance to make a difference in the world or in someone else’s life.  The beginning of finding that purpose is believing you have one.  Here are some scriptures to start:

Ephesians 3:20 (Amplified): Now to Him Who by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above th we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].

Jeremiah 29:11 (Amplified): For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, throughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

I John 2:27 (Amplified): But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you.  But just as His anointing eaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so youmust abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him] just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].

Philippians 4:13 (Amplified): I have for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me, I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

Isaiah 54:2 (Amplified): Enlarge the place of your tent and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out, spare not, lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.
